The Johnny and Evelyn Potts Academic Scholarship

The Potts Foundation was created in 2016 in remembrance of Johnny and Evelyn Potts. Although departing from this world at healthy ages, Johnny and Evelyn both made many significant impacts in the lives of their children, grandchildren, and throughout the local community. Their love for people, acts of generosity, and kindness is what led to the creation of The Potts Foundation.

The Potts Foundation, Inc. was established to inspire, educate, and cultivate young adults in pursuit of higher education and professional advancement through scholarship and devoted service. We seek to teach valuable tools, knowledge, and wisdom that will promote character and leadership development to increase success within underserved youth.

The Foundation aspires to become a leading non-profit organization that focuses on academic excellence, character, and leadership growth and development of underserved youth to address and mitigate disparities through studied skillsets, mentorship, and education, in addition to academic scholarship donations.

We currently assist high school seniors and undergraduate students with college expenses such as books and tuition/fees in pursuit of a college degree. We are dedicated to furthering the education of young adults who demonstrate the financial need and academic proficiency.
